Words fail to express how much I want that Wii controller and the upcoming game. I suppose there's at least the possibility that the game for the Wii will be released in the US, but I don't think there's any real chance that the controller will be sold here. I wonder if the controllers for the various regions are different from one another?

Ok - this turned out much as I would expect. Look at the top 6. To me, they are all interchangeable. They were all 'Good' episodes. Good meaning 7's or 8's on a scale of 1-10 or four Tardis groans. That's pretty good - but there were no WOW episodes - they came close mind you, but there's just SOMETHING that's missing. I've seen other posts and tweets saying likewise...but what is it??? It's not Matt Smith - he's great, no argument. But what is it???? Could it be those precious 4-5 minutes that are being trimmed to fit the current format? Could be!!! Give us just a few seconds...300 of them to further flesh out characters or a means for the Doctor to escape a jamb w/out falling on this crutch sonic screwdriver. (It ruined Cold Blood for me when he kept disarming the Silurians with it...enough is enough....where's a Teriliptil when you need him!)
Regarding the bottom half - again, there's not a 'Fear Her' in the bunch....but I'd only describe anything below the top 6 simply as 'Ok' - no great shakes, I was disappointed w/ the Silurian episodes on the whole...could have been better, but nothing terrible. My only comment on this list would be that I would have had Vampires of Venice a little higher. I thought it was good use of Rory and the 'Fish People' were fantastically realized. In fact, I've never heard any positive things about the special effects for that episide at all - why is that? The scenes where the Queen's Perception Filter was failing as she was walking around, or down the steps I thought were top notch for 2010 Who. Oh well.

As well as releasing the games there have also been report of some peripherals that can go with the game system.
For the Wii - how about a sonic screwdriver shaped game controller, for the DS you can find slipcases (6 of them) and a sonic screwdriver shaped stylus for their games.
You can see pictures of both of them here:
'Doctor Who' accessories for Wii, DS
The games have been reported to go on sale in the UK, Australia, and several European territories, I assume that the accessories are as well.
So far there is no information of an American release of the games and periphereals.

Welcome to this, the 19th Hitchhiker's Guide to the Whoverse: Mostly Harmless Cutaway. Today Eric flies solo directly into his reaction to Two-Minute Time Lord Podcast episode144. If you haven't already, please give Chip's Podcast and particularly this episode 144 where Chip postulates why Series 5 was made for the box set. Eric attempts to expand upon this premise of a 'box set series' that in hindsight appears to be greater than the sum of it's parts. He then continues to reflect upon and contrast the differences in character development under the tutelage of both RTD & Steven Moffat.
WARNING: This podcast contains SPOILERS pertinent to Series 5 overall in general.

Best season opener since Rose in my opinion. I tend to look at it as the development of themes rather than plagarism.
I find it a little worrying that a story where Steven Moffat blatantly plagarized himself is considered the best episode of the season.

Needless to say eps 3,4, and esp 5 are brilliant and 5 is just the height of drama, humor and IF you can accept the IFs of this show, this is what having these powers would probably be like. In the show, it seems realism is something unlike DW where one can flit about using a small round ball and change anything you'd like...and somethings I didn't.
In any case, there is a funny baby incident and Curtis says so long to his girlfriend...many times as he tme rewinds wthout wanting to each time his girl, Sam, cries. There's also a shocking conclusion to the probabtion worker and Simon thing and....oh yeah...
a small, very small DALEK toy sits on Simon's table in his bedroom...
